FB131H thickness planer features a 15-amp motor, boasts low interference, low noise, smooth operation, high speed, high temperature resistance, and a longer lifespan (over 200,000 hours), ensuring stability and reliability woodwork. This 1,800 watts motor can provide up to 10000 RPM at a 27.5 FPM feed rate, which can plane boards up to 6" thick and 13" wide.

Great hobbyist planer, just a step shy of professional.

It's a very good lunchbox planer. Probably the best you can get for a benchtop unit. I've been using it for 3 months now and have run oak, maple, padauk, walnut, cherry, curly maple, and sapele through it. The wood comes out really clean and slick. No tear out with sharp knives. Knife change is easy and pretty quick-i did it in 20 minutes with a drill with a torx head on it. Just be careful to thread the screws correctly before you tighten them down. I used my screwdriver with the torque turned way down so I could finish them by hand tightening.I'd say I use my planer more often than a hobbyist but certainly less than a professional shop. If you want something to run all day every day you will want a more capable machine, but for my uses as a craftsman and hobbyist with lots of roughsawn access, it's wonderful.This planer is loud though. You should wear hearing protection while using it. I don't hold that against the machine though. The process of milling lumber is loud.

I just have a small set up in my boat garage and recently entered the world of cutting boards. Realizing I would need a planer I began the search for one. Works like a charm on pallet wood

I have been using this planer on wood from pallets to make them all the same thickness and to make the wood look as if it were new. It makes the wood look much better and it even has a thickness gauge which lets you get all of the wood the same thickness
