By using this spiral helical cutter head with 4 cutting wings, you can enhance the performance of your jointer significantly. This upgrade reduces noise by over 50% and produces much smoother surface quality on the hardest figured wood. The helical head is designed to perfectly replace the G6/63 cutter head for 6" jointers of multiple brands, including

Helical cutter head for 6" jointer smooth cut

Our helical spiral cutterheads are well-machined by 5-axis CNC machines, resulting in excellent coaxiality. The tungsten carbide insert knives are made from 100% raw material, so compared with HSS knives, we provide you 

  • Producing a much better surface finish that reduces additional sanding thanks to the 30 tungsten carbide inserts.
  • 40 times longer lifetime.
  • The carbide inserts are set at an angle, offering a true shear cut, which virtually eliminates tear-outs and kick-backs.
  • Producing much smaller chips and your dust collection system will function more efficiently.
  • Changing blades is effortless and does not require adjustment.
  • No need to re-sharpen the blades any longer.
  • Eliminating at least 50% of noise.
  • We have upgraded the compatible blades from 15x15x2.5mm-R150 blades to 15x15x2.5mm-R150-4R0.5 blades. Please do not use the different blades mixedly. (If you are not sure which blades you are purchasing, please do not hesitate to contact us)
  • In case you're unable to locate a cutter head that matches your machine model, we also provide an option for a custom cutter head.
  • To properly align the inserts, please tighten them to approximately 6 Newton-meter torque. Please refer to the manual for guidance on installing the carbide insert knives when replacing them.

    Fantastic upgrade!

    Better than I expected

    Man does it work. Install was fine. And did I say it works it’s a dream compared to the previous setup. No more guessing if the blades are set right hence no more chatter boards and a hell of a lot less noise.

    For the years, I’ve had my Rigid jointer , I have never been happier than I am to use it now with the helix, it is absolutely amazing how smooth and vibration free cuts have absolutely no fear of a kick back should have done this years ago saving up to get one for my thickness planer now
