Got delivered on time the spinlde gouge is very well made the finish on tool is very good and the balance off the tool is good too. just bought this one to try it out and very pleased with it and i will be buying some more tools very soon thank you

I admit I had my doubts about this parting tool, it seemed too flexible to offer a great cut…but I was wrong! In use, it’s fabulous - very sharp from the get go, you can cut really deep and very cleanly. Recommended!

To be honest, I have not used them yet, but they look really Great and feel comfortable in the hand. I can't say any more as I have not used them yet.

I bought this 5/8 bowl gouge about a month ago…the packaging that it was sent in was great the tool was very well protected…
The tool was very well made out of high quality steel..l have re sharpened it a couple of times an it really holds it’s edge well!.very pleased with this tool😀

Took just over the hour to install, plenty off video on YouTube on how to, the best thing for me is the reduction in noise, there’s hardly any difference between cutting and the motor running, the finish is great

Great cutter head, Product arrived on time, took me 2 hours to install, Cuts perfectly, less nosy than 3 knives, very sharp insets, I use it on birch wood.

One of the best upgrades I have made to my tools. Very smooth cut, the noise dropped significantyly and the planer handles it with no problem. Installation was simple and fast. From start to finish it took me less than an hour. Great buy.

I had another name brand planer that was good. However it had a spiral cutterhead (not a helical head). I had made the mistake of thinking they were the same before the purchase. I decided i was going to replace the cutterhead with a helical cutterhead. But I found this FindBuy machine online that got great reviews and had a helical head, and i could buy the entire machine for about $75 more than just the Sheartek helical head alone, and I didn't have to go through the tedium of installing it! I orderd the FindBuy planer and it has been great. Very sturdy well built machine. VERY smooth cuts. Much better than my old planer. I have one criticism of the design. The locking mechanism for the cutterhead is quite awkward, and unless the machine is bolted down to a table, setting or releasing the lock requires two hands. They should revise this design and it would be perfect.

Biggest difference seems to be quietness and durability. Been planing hundreds of raw cut cedar 1 by 8 down to 3/4.
Installation is same as other ones, check on YouTube.
I think it was worth it.
Just be aware, it seems to bog down more on deeper cuts. Need to use dedicated 20 amp circuit.
