I bought this replacement head to update a Jet 6 inch jointer. Install was easy. Once i got the machine tuned back up, I must admit, the first cut was better than expected. The cutter head performed beyond my expectations.
I am going to see what other cutter head they have that may fit my other machines.

I recently installed the helical cutter head on my Ridgid TP1302 planer. While the installation process was challenging, it was not outrageously-so. You do need a gear puller and some larger metric sockets that not everyone is likely to already have. There is an excellent online tutorial that will take you through the process. As an initial trial, I planed some Sycamore with interlocking grain to give it a good challenge, and it did a beautiful job with it.

I own three spiral cutter heads, the thought that I just bought and another that I bought for a delta 12 inch portable. All three cutter heads fit perfectly. The first impression is how quiet the players now operate. Shipping was super fast and the heads are very well packed against damage. First impressions are good, well boxed. Assembly is super easy, one handle to fit and it's done. Getting the in-feed and out-feed beds level is the most difficult part of the set-up. Seems quieter than my old planer thicknesser but still need hearing protection. Cut quality is spot on, tried on pine with lots of knots (no problem) and mahogany (lovely finish). So far so good, only time will tell.

After seeing a review on YouTube I decided to take the plunge and upgrade my Triton thicknesser. Installation was fairly straightforward but still took a couple of hours. My first impressions are that it's MUCH quieter and the surface finish on the timber is silky smooth. Thoroughly recommended!

I put my cutter head in a few weeks back and love! I’ve run cherry, walnut and Douglas fir through and all have been perfect. I also thought the installation was pretty easy with the right video.

The cutterhead and associated carbide insert blades are all high quality. The installation directions are not great. However, there are YouTube videos that are quite helpful. All in all, very happy with my purchase.
