The heavy stainless-steel handwheel allows the woodworkers to spin the wheel with a single flick for rapid & effortless height adjustments.  It adjusts the depth by 1/16" per turn of the crank. The upgraded handwheel mechanism includes precision-machined keyways and a fine-tuned spring-tension preload to minimize backlash. It ensures seamless synchronization with DRO, minimizes board snipe, and allows effortless thickness recalibration without guesswork.

Our four ball screw assembly with worm gear drive achieve precise adjustment within ±0.05mm.  Connected directly to the frame through high-precision threaded mounts, the 4-post structure ensures  smooth & wobble-free operation.  Unlike standard screw-and-gear mechanisms, this professional-grade setup maintains its precision over time.

The depth scale shows the height of the cutterhead above the table. Dual-sided scales (inches and millimeters) accommodate both imperial and metric users. Combined with the handwheel, you can easily adjust precise dimensions without guesswork.

The pre-set rotating knob has a six-position preset for repeatable thickness processing. You can precisely lower the cutterhead to your most frequently used dimensions (up to 1/8" max cut depth per pass). The easy setup streamlines your workflow and ensures consistent results when planing large batches of workpieces.

We've added pull-out extensions to the heavy-gauge infeed and outfeed tables, allowing you to extend the table length up to 47-1/4 inches to handle longer boards than standard planer trays. This keeps the plate coplanar with the table, providing better support, smooth stock feeding and preventing it from snipes. When retracted, the planer stays compact for easy storage.

Pairing stock helical cutterhead & induction motor, Machorool benchtop thickness planer is lab-tested for a quieter woodworking experience. Unlike standard planer, it eliminates harsh screech and chopping noise. The helical planer produces a low hum than high-piercing planer sound, less noise fatigue especially during long sessions. Just focused planing with less noise fatigue.

The helical planer is equipped with dual LED lights over the depth-of-cut gauge and infeed area for better visibility even in a dark workshop or garage. And it allows for quick inspection for hidden nails or board surface defects prior to feeding.  

The thickness planer is equipped with a depth-of-cut gauge. Easy-to-read depth-of-cut gauge shows cut depth from 0 to 1/8", allowing woodworkers to know exactly how much material will be removed on each pass. 

This thickness planer is equipped with a circuit breaker. For added safety, when the current overloads, the circuit breaker shuts off the power to protect the motor windings, power supply circuits and ensure your safety. The circuit breaker can be reset with the push of a button.

The auto-locking cutterhead prevents the cutter head movement for flawless, professional-grade results—no manual locking needed. Just load your board and plane with confidence, knowing every cut stays locked in precision from start to end.

The wood planer is compatible with standard shop vacuums (3") as well as heavy-duty dust collection systems (4") to match your shop's setup. Hook up directly to your dust management system to evacuate wood chips and heavy shavings, preventing chip build-up, reducing snipe, extending cutterhead insert life, and ensuring a smooth finish on every pass.

This thickness planer features a cast aluminum base that's 2X as rigid as a standard planer with a larger base area and a lower center of gravity to minimize vibration.This allows for smoother, flatter cuts with less snipping and tearing out.
