2-Speed of 20 or 12 FPM
The FB152H 2-speed planer is a professional-grade woodworking machine with two adjustable speeds: 21 FPM and 12 FPM.
20 FPM – Ideal for roughing, quickly planing to the desired thickness, such as planing untreated wood and removing bark.
12 FPM – Perfect for fine finishing, achieving a smooth surface without tear out. It can easily handle a variety of woodworking needs, from hardwood and softwood to rough and fine work.
Powerful 15A 3.75 HP Motor
This 12A, 3.75 HP (2400W) motor delivers high torque and stable power, turning the cutterhead at 8,700 RPM. It plans through dense hardwoods like oak and maple without being stuck and stops - even on 6" thick, 15" wide boards. The use of gear transmission offers higher transmission efficiency and a relatively smaller load on the motor, which can effectively extend the motor's lifespan.
4-Row Helical Cutterhead
This helical cutterhead planer comes loaded with 48 carbide inserts with 4 cutting edges. When an edge dulls, simply rotate the insert to a fresh edge - or replace it entirely when needed. This smart design keeps maintenance quick and affordable. It's perfect for high-volume professional shops. Compared to traditional straight knives, this lifespan lasts 4X longer.
Precision Height Adjustment
Our four ball screw assembly with worm gear drive achieve precise adjustment within ±0.05mm. Unlike standard screw-and-gear mechanisms, this professional-grade setup maintains its precision over time.
Visible Depth Scale
The depth scale shows the height of the cutterhead from the feed table. Dual-sided scales (inches and millimeters) accommodate both Imperial and metric users. Combined with the handwheel, you can easily adjust precise dimensions without guesswork.
Repeat Cutting
The Preset knob has a six-position preset thickness. You can precisely lower the cutterhead to your most frequently used dimensions (up to 1/8" max cut depth). This ensures consistent repetitive cuts - even when planing large batches of workpieces.
Adjustable Feed Table
We've added pull-out extensions to the heavy-gauge infeed and outfeed tables, allowing you to extend the table length up to 45 inches to handle longer plates. This keeps the plate coplanar with the table, providing better support and preventing it from tipping or breaking.
Less Vibration
This thickness planer features a cast aluminum base that's 2X as rigid as a standard planer with a larger base area and a lower center of gravity to minimize vibration. Holes on the base of the FB152H allow it to be securely fixed to a workbench. This allows for smoother, flatter cuts with less snipping and tearing out.
3" & 4" Dust Port with Chip Ejection
The fan-assisted chip evacuation system scrapes chips off the 3,500 RPM cutterhead and directs them straight into the included dust bag, preventing clogs and protecting the cutterhead. It's high-capacity 4-inch port connects easily to standard shop vacs or dust collectors, removing 95% of chips during use.
LED Light
The wood planer is equipped with two LED lights to provide additional illumination for the depth-of-cut gauge and infeed table.This ensures good visibility even in a dark workshop or garage.
Depth of Cut Gauge
The thickness planer is equipped with a depth-of-cut gauge. Easy-to-read depth-of-cut gauge shows cut depth from 0 to 1/8", allowing users to know exactly how much material will be removed on each pass.
