I really love my planner but I wish I would've known about the red 15" bc I would've much rather have the larger one

As my first carbide tool set, I was pretty impressed with them. Really easy to use, quick removal of material, the round one is awesome for the inside of bowls, instead of a round nose scraper. The finish may be rougher than traditional tools provide, but sanding sorts it out. Also, no need to sharpen, which is a great plus.

I set this planer up without issues. The instructions are comprehensive and well written. I'm very impressed with the low noise level while in operation. The helical cutter head left a very smooth finished surface in white oak. I'm very pleased with this purchase. I think it represents good value for the price.

I was going to buy the "top tier" brand but saw some good reviews for the
FIndBuyTool cutter.,and for a couple hundred bucks less decided to roll the dice.
It was at my door in less than a week. It was well packaged, and the fit and finish quality far exceeded my expectations. Shipped with no instructions,but thats no a problem because there are so many videos on youtube to explain the install....once it was in I ran a board through and was amazed at how much less noise it made compared to the factory cutter (that alone made it worth the price of admission to me)
When I saw the quality of the cut (smooth as glass no tearout) I got online and ordered the helical head for my DW735.....the jointer had not even
stopped spinning when I pulled the trigger for the FIndBuyTool Dw735 cutter......you won't be disappointed.

I keep thinking about which planer to buy. I went back and forth looking at a number of different ones. I finally bought the FB131 planer and have been very happy with it. I have been using it to plane cutting boards that I have done inlays in and it does a great job.

The service FindBuyTool provided was excellent helping me choose the right cutter for my machine. Once ordered it arrived here in France within 10 days, not bad considering where it came from. I only got round to fitting it last week which took me 5 long afternoons as I'd never stripped my machine down before. Its in, after regulating the table to suit, and working superbly. It has returned the pleasure of using my Felder AD741 again. I wholeheartedly recommend the cutter to anyone with the same machine especially as Felder refuse to sell their silent block on its own as an upgrade. Thanks again for all your help.

I would highly recommend getting the FBT preset torque wrench when you purchase any FBT Helical cutter head. It makes installation of cutter blades fast,easy and torqued accurately every time. A great tool. Clifford M. NC USA
