Machorool® FB132H 13" 2-Speed Thickness Planer with Helical Cutterhead

I thoroughly went over the machine. Very little assembly and I was very impressed with how much metal is used in this machine. This is not belt driven, it has a chain. That alone impressed me. I have run over 80 bf of various hardwoods so far. These come out darn near perfectly smooth. I will be able to go to 120 grit sand paper because the boards are that smooth. I did have a little snipe because I lifted the board when coming out and not letting the machine do its job. The built in rollers are awesome and can handle 24" boards with no problem. The machine is very heavy. It helps having another person to help lift it. I am also impressed how quite it is compared to my old Delta 2 blade planer.The machine does an excellent job sending the chips out the back. With dust collection, no issues. The only wood that does build up on the plate or around the machine is Pine.
I think this is a huge competitor to the yellow planer out there. I am very happy with the purchase and the price. I hope to get many years of use with this amazing tool. If you are looking at a true helical cutterhead planer, this machine is great in many ways.

Replaced my Ridgid planer with straight knives with this planer and it’s like night and day. Leave a very smooth finish.

Sold my Dewalt 13” planer and recently purchased this one. It sounds quiter to me and the carbide cutters are so much better . I’m very happy with this planer.

Solid machine, quiet and the finish is very smooth and consistent. I had to wait for the machine since it was out of stock, but it was definitely worth the wait,

I took a gamble and bought a brand new planer hoping the companies track record and the feature set offered for the price would pay off. I can safely say that it has so far exceeded my expectations. The boards come out looking like they have been hand planed. Very happy with the price point and performance.

Side note. I ordered extra carbide inserts at the same time. When the package was delivered I could not find them. I contacted customer service and they asked me to look 1 place. Not finding them there they without question just sent me a new set on their dime.

I have been very impressed with this planer and am glad I made the purchase. I was hesitant at first since I had a Dewalt for years but I wanted the helical cutter and this new machine really looked good. All the features plus more that the DeWalt had including looks were there. The cutter head and machine is awesome a real test was working with Purple Heart, it it didn’t tear out like the DeWalt did and left a nice smooth finish. The dust collection with a 4 in.hookup worked perfectly and the 2 speed is great I basically use the 2 setting as it leaves everything nice and smooth. I did sell my dewalt 735x for half of what this cost so I would have a machine built for this cutter head . The extension on the infeed and out feed was the second reason for me buying this they are nice and solid. I will also mention snipe on properly prepared boars there was none and where there was some it was very mild compared to the blade version.Here is something that was very important to me before writing this, was the customer service since this was not a company I was familiar with. I tested them on a few questions and a problem I had mainly because you have to email there service or tech support . I must say that I got a nice response every time the next day and everything was taking care of nicely. This gave me piece of mind I will look into there other products and as now would highly recommend this planer if anything changes I will update.

This machine is a beast,I almost couldn't believe its performance.Very precise and accurate.
Right out of the box,it performs like a champ.
The quality and result on the pieces of wood you insert is absolutely amazing.The finish is just unbelievable.No sanding needed after that.
I will post a video pretty soon.Something that really amazed me is how quiet it is compared to other planers and it is almost the quietest machine in my shop.
It looks mean and built like a tank.it is very heavy(107lb).I built a heavy duty rolling stand and boom.
I really love this planer and hope that it will last for a long time.I would totally advise people to buy it if they can.
Another thing I like about this company is how fast they shipped it and always keep in touch with you via email afterwards.

Item was very well packaged and instructions were very clear. Installing a couple of handles was easy and ready to go. No need for leveling or setting up infeed and outfeed platforms. I did have an issue with the LED light not working, but customer support was very helpful in the troubleshooting. Ultimately I had to replace a wire, and all was good. The operation of the planer was fantastic. I've used it to plane rough cedar boards, and even on the fast setting, the result was very smooth, so smooth I don't have to sand further. Didn't notice any snipe and was planing 8 ft and 10 ft boards. The dust port works well connected to a shop vac, although not perfect. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase, feels like a very robust machine and only time will tell about the reliability. For the price, I don't think you can find a better option that includes a helical blade.
