Our midi wood lathe offer two infinitely variable speed ranges: Low (300-1200 RPM) and High (750-3500 RPM). You can quickly adjust to the desired speed. The Machorool FL1221 wood turning lathe can process a wider range of wooden pieces than a mini wood lathe. It's 21" (533 mm) center distance accommodates large workpieces like table legs. The 12" (305 mm) bed swing is perfect for handling larger projects like vases and bowls.

The forward/reverse switch allows for adjusting the spindle rotation direction. Extra reverse rotation is used for fine polishing the surfaces, making your workpieces more delicate and smooth.

The RPM will be clearly displayed on the digital screen, allowing you to easily obtain accurate readings without interrupting your wood turning. This feature is particularly useful for tasks that require consistent specifications in different wooden pieces, enhancing efficiency in large-scale productions.

With front and side access doors, it is easy to access the interior of the belt tension system. By using the belt tension lever, you can effortlessly adjust the belt tension to modify the belt position for two rotational speed range settings: low speed (300-1200 RPM) and high speed (750-3500 RPM). The entire speed adjustment process only takes 30s and does not require any tools.

The tool caddy provides convenient storage and easy access to various wood lathe tools. It keeps the work area neat and organized around the lathe.

You can easily adjust the position and height of the tool rest using the lever handle on the tool rest. Use the handwheel and lever handle on the tailstock to adjust the center distance. Pressing the handle locks into place, the lock system is stable and reliable, ensuring perfect alignment. You won't have to worry about shaking or cutting errors during cutting.

For added safety, when the total current exceeds the maximum allowed, the overload protector on the woodturning lathe will automatically cut off the power supply to ensure your safety and protect the motor from potential damage due to short circuits.

The 1"x8 TPI spindle thread and MT2 taper are perfectly compatible with most common chucks and rotary tools, such as drills, routers, etc. This design allows you to explore a wide range of woodworking possibilities. It's an ideal choice for both amateurs and professional woodworkers.
