I love this saw. I'm a carpenter by trade and I use table saws on a regular basis. I've used many different kinds, I'd choose this job site saw over all of them. It came true out of the box, no need to adjust. The rack and pinion fence glides and works as it should. Saw speed allows you to run any kind of hardwood through it. So it works great for the small wood shop as well, which is what I primarily use it for.

I received shipment earlier than expected. A friend who had made the change a few years ago helped me with the install, which went smoothly except for a couple of screws that needed some extra work. I put all the cutter heads on, slow at first but then it got easier. Once everything was done and put back together I turned the planer on and put a couple of test boards through. They came out very smooth needing very little if any sanding. Since I belong to a woodworking group and we rough cut our lumber every board I get needs to be planed and with the helical cutter installed it will make the planing a joy.

After using a planer with knives for years switching to a helical cutter head is a game changer. Most planers with this head type go for excess of 1000k. The finish is almost sanded quality. No qualms about recommending this to others

It was very easy instruction and video mafe it a breeze. Once I installed it I ran it much better then the old blades.

I thoroughly went over the machine. Very little assembly and I was very impressed with how much metal is used in this machine. This is not belt driven, it has a chain. That alone impressed me. I have run over 80 bf of various hardwoods so far. These come out darn near perfectly smooth. I will be able to go to 120 grit sand paper because the boards are that smooth. I did have a little snipe because I lifted the board when coming out and not letting the machine do its job. The built in rollers are awesome and can handle 24" boards with no problem. The machine is very heavy. It helps having another person to help lift it. I am also impressed how quite it is compared to my old Delta 2 blade planer.The machine does an excellent job sending the chips out the back. With dust collection, no issues. The only wood that does build up on the plate or around the machine is Pine.
I think this is a huge competitor to the yellow planer out there. I am very happy with the purchase and the price. I hope to get many years of use with this amazing tool. If you are looking at a true helical cutterhead planer, this machine is great in many ways.

So far I am very pleased with this new helical cutting head, the bearings seem a bit more rougher than the original ones but the cuts are far superior to the original two blade head!

Fence is surprisingly accurate and quick to adjust. So happy with it. Good power, compact, pretty quiet. The vacuum port is pretty awesome too!
I purchase this for a 4” jointer used for onsite installation and weigh in with my comments that it out performs the original cutter head. It handles hardwood with ease, leaves a finer finish, uses less power and is quieter running.
I would recommend it and I’m considering purchasing another for a larger stationary shop jointer.

The roughing gouge arrived well packaged and in a reasonable time. It was ready to use straight from its package. Instantly comfortable and well balanced, the gouge had been manufactured with care and was at a good price. Would recommend to anyone interested in good quality turning tools.

The bits I purchased is all three with bearings on top, bottom and both. The carbide is very sharp and makes the cut very smooth. I do wish a smaller diameter would work but the carbide would not work . I would have to get a double screw to keep the edges from being ripped.

First time using one and it's awesome works really well. had some great results. Only had chance to use one of the cutters so far, but I'm sure the other two will work just as well.

I received a used Delta 6" 37-190 jointer with original head and bearings. I knew I wanted to upgrade to a helical head, and since the bearings were starting to go. bad, I had an exuse to make the change.
The install was straight forward. Machine is much quieter. The cut is very smooth. Happy I made the change.

I have been without a table saw for years but want to re-ignite my skills as a woodworker. This model fits my needs financially and the portability is a big plus.
I received the machine earlier than expected and was happy about that.
I set it up without much difficulty and made a few test cuts. I think I picked a winner.
Najlepiej wydane pieniadze ever! Szczerze polecam ta glowice, prosty, szybki montaz (wystarczynodkrecic dolna czesc grubosciowki) a nie gorna tak jak robia wszyscy, calosc zajela mi ok 1,5 godziny. - Jakosc pracy po wymianie zmienila sie niewyobrazalnie. Oczywiscie zrobilo sie duzo ciszej.

Very easy to install and the results are very smooth.
For a number of years I had a problem with getting the old blade system on my Metabo planer/thicknesser to set correctly, so decided to bite the bullet and by a helical cutter head and Findbuytools was the most cost effective and has proven to be a superb investment, it fitted like it was made by Metabo and the set up was really easy no more struggling with setting the blades.

Super quality fitted my makita battery planer perfectly. My only gripe about it is it’s a little heavier than the original cutter head, which makes the planer run at a slower speed. If it was electric it wouldn’t be a issue
