The 8" spiral helical cutterhead with 36 top-quality tungsten carbide insert knives will completely turn your jointer to the next level. Tungsten carbide insert knives are made of 100% raw material, so compared with HSS knives, we provide you

  2. This true helical head produces a true shear cut, which eliminates the kick-backs and tear-outs.
  3. Improved blades reduce surface blemishes and significantly lower the possibility of blade fracture.
  4. 40X lifetime from our proud carbide insert.
  5. Higher work efficiency thanks to faster feed speed.
  6. Producing much smaller chips and your dust collection system will function more efficiently.
  7. Changing blades is effortless and does not require adjustment.
  8. No need to re-sharpen the blades any longer.
  9. Dramatically reduce the noise by more than 50%.
  10. Replacement knife:  15x15x2.5mm-R150-4R0.5 blades. 
  11. To properly align the inserts, please tighten them to approximately 6 Newton-meter torque.
  12. In case you're unable to locate a cutter head that matches your machine model, we also provide an option for a custom cutter head.

#This helical cutter head is designed for the replacement of the G-8M cutter head (Not the made-in-China models). If your machine is younger than 2004, this cutter head will fit right. If the machine is prior to 1996, it uses a G-8 cutterhead, and you need to replace the pulley with a metric-sized pulley. If it is made from 1996 to 2004, you will need to measure the diameter of the diameter on end of the shaft on the pulley side to confirm. (G-8M head-19mm; G-8 head-3/4")
